The cushion cut pink topaz at the heart of this pendant reads a vivid, saturated rose rather than a pale one, a broad open face that fills most of the frame. A close halo of small round white topaz rings the stone, and the same pave carries up the tapered bail in two neat rows, so the brightness sits above the center as well as around it. Yellow gold shows at the claws and along the inner bezel, warming the pink where the two metals meet.
The pendant measures 25 by 14 millimeters and stands 8.4 millimeters deep, a substantial drop that hangs from a 16 inch chain and rides high at the base of the throat.
