Here a rhodolite garnet of just under three carats is set into 14K rose gold, so the stone's raspberry red and the pink of the metal run close and warm together. Diamonds frame the garnet and catch light at the edges. Where a white metal would sharpen the red, the rose gold softens and deepens it. This is the only one of its kind.
