An emerald cut rose quartz of 5.52 carats, step faceted but softly translucent rather than transparent, so the crown facets read as gentle shifts of tone across a milky pink rather than as flashes of light. It hangs from a plain silver mount with a small trio of round white topaz, 0.08 carats, set where the stone meets the bail.
That is the whole design, and the restraint suits the material: a hard bright halo would fight the quartz rather than flatter it. The pendant measures 24 by 11 mm on an 18 inch sterling silver chain.
