These sit close at the lobe rather than swinging free. Each earring is a lever back hoop in 14K white gold with a line of small diamonds running along the front of the curve, and an octagonal step cut rubellite held in a plain frame where the hoop comes to a close.
The pink red of the rubellite carries at a distance despite the compact format, and its flat step cut facets return light in broad planes rather than in pinpoints. Each earring measures about 20 by 8 millimeters.
