Each stud centers a square cut rubellite with softly clipped corners, the pink red saturated enough to hold its color at conversational distance. A single row of pave diamonds runs the full way around the stone, squaring the outline and drawing a bright line between the tourmaline and the lobe.
At 10 by 10 millimeters the pair sits flat against the ear rather than dropping, so the halo shape stays legible from the front and from three quarters. Total weight runs 2.68 carats, 2.46 of rubellite between the two stones and 0.22 across the diamond frames.
