An emerald cut rubellite sits at each ear inside a rectangular halo of small round diamonds that tracks the stone's corners exactly, so the outline stays angular instead of softening toward an oval. The step cut throws long parallel flashes across the table rather than a scatter of sparkle, and the pink deepens toward red through the body of the stone.
