The rubies here are marquise cut, not round or oval, and that changes the whole line. Each stone is held at its two points and laid lengthwise along the wrist, so the row reads as a series of pointed ellipses rather than a string of beads. Slim white gold ribbons twist between them, taking up almost no visual space.
With 7.98 carats and no accent stones anywhere in the design, the red has the bracelet entirely to itself. The 10K white gold stays pale and recessive behind it. Seven inches, closed by a box clasp with a hinged safety catch.
