All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Very little metal is visible from the front. Oval rubies run edge to edge for the whole circuit, four prongs to a stone, with the gold reduced to the thin claws that hold them and the rail underneath. The red here is bright and slightly pink rather than dark.
At 9.16 carats the ovals are large enough to read individually and numerous enough to cover the full seven inches without a break. The 10K yellow gold warms the underside of each stone where the light passes through. It fastens with a box clasp and a hinged safety catch.
