All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
At 8 by 6 millimeters these are substantial studs, the oval outline broad enough to cover most of the lobe. Each ruby is gripped by four rounded claws set at the diagonals, and the mount behind sits tight so the stones appear to rest directly against the ear with almost no metal showing from the front.
The cut is a mixed oval, a faceted crown over a stepped pavilion, and it breaks the red into large irregular planes rather than fine sparkle. Some of those planes go nearly black where the color pools deepest, others lift toward pink at the girdle, and that variation is what gives the pair movement as the head turns. The 14K yellow gold appears only at the claw tips.
