Yellow gold changes the read of the same three part drop: a pavé bar, an open pavé circle, and a marquise ruby inside a navette halo, with gold claws gripping the stone and a gold rim outlining each white section. The metal picks the red up and warms the whole line instead of leaving it as pure white and pink.
Eighty diamonds run across the three parts rather than massing at the center, which keeps the drop light and articulated over its twenty millimeters. The rubies are strongly saturated, deepest along the long axis of each marquise and brighter toward the two points.
