Each ruby is a pear cut closed in a full yellow gold bezel, the metal running unbroken around the outline so the red reads as one solid shape instead of a scatter of highlights. A small pear shaped link above it carries a single round diamond and joins the drop to the post.
Fifteen millimeters top to bottom keeps the swing short and controlled at the ear, and the bezel leaves a smooth profile with nothing to catch.
