One detail decides the temperature of these studs: the four claws gripping each ruby are yellow gold while everything around them stays white. Those small warm points land directly on the red and pull it toward a deeper, more traditional tone than a fully white mount would allow.
The halo itself is white throughout, forty round diamonds across the pair at 0.25 carats, each held in its own claw so the outer edge finishes in small points rather than a clean circle. The ovals carry 1.70 carats between them at 10 by 8 millimeters, filling each head without reaching past it, and the meeting of two metals gives the earrings a depth that one tone alone would flatten.
