Five oval rubies run in a row across the centre of this wide band, laid end to end so the red forms a continuous stripe. Above and below them two rows of small round diamonds are set in white metal, bracketing the rubies in bright white and keeping them from bleeding into the gold toned band. It is a broad ring, more a decorated band than a ring with a head, and it sits flat enough to wear alongside others.
