All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Twelve round rubies, 2.06 carats between them, arranged in four groups of three and divided by a raised cross of gold plated bars that runs corner to corner across the head. A small white topaz sits at each arm of that cross. The quartering is what makes this work: the same twelve stones packed in a plain circle would read as a blob, and splitting them into four tight groups gives the head structure and a diamond shaped outline on the finger. The shoulders are pierced with scrollwork on both sides.
