This is a ballerina ring, built in two rings around the centre. An oval ruby of 1.58 carats is claw set in yellow toned metal, circled first by a close halo of small round white topaz, then by an outer skirt of tapered baguettes that fan outward like pleats.
The white topaz carries more weight than the ruby at 2.12 carats, which tells you where the volume of the piece sits. White stones against gold plated sterling silver give the two tone cocktail look, warm band and cool skirt. It stands tall on the finger. Ring size 7 US.
