All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Two oval rubies sit in plain four claw mounts, gripped at the corners so nearly the whole face of each stone is left open. At 8 by 6 millimeters they fill the lobe without overhanging it, and the pair carries 1.68 carats between them. The red runs deep and slightly purplish through the crown, broken into broad flat facets that read as color first and sparkle second.
The 10K yellow gold claws are the only metal visible from the front, small rounded tips that pick up the warmth already in the stones instead of cutting across it. These are studs in the plainest sense, with nothing set around the rubies to compete for attention.
