A pear cut ruby of real size hangs at each ear, eighteen millimeters overall with the stone taking up more than half that length. Gold traces the outline of the pear and grips it with one claw at the point and two rounded claws beneath the base, leaving the flanks of the stone open.
Above the drop, a pear shaped plaque set with a dozen small round diamonds points down toward the ruby, the two shapes echoing each other in opposite directions. The jump ring between them lets the stone move on its own.
