Every link on this bracelet is a small squared frame, and a round ruby sits at the center of each one, so the red reads as a run of evenly spaced points rather than a solid band. The frames are worked in white metal with a narrow beaded edge that picks up light all the way around each stone, giving the piece the look of a row of miniature halos.
Sterling silver keeps that surround cool, which holds the pinkish red of the ruby bright instead of letting it sink. Three and a tenth carats spread across the full circuit means no single stone dominates; the interest is in rhythm and the squared outline of the links, which articulate individually and lie flat. It closes with a concealed box clasp and twin figure eight safety catches.
