The line alternates by size as well as by color: a broad step cut smoky quartz, then a small square citrine, repeating the whole way around the wrist. That difference in scale is what gives the bracelet its rhythm, the brown stones setting the beat and the yellow ones marking time between them.
Smoky quartz runs translucent and warm, and citrine picks up the same warmth several tones higher, so the two sit close together rather than contrasting. Everything is prong set in bright silver, which keeps a clean edge between one stone and the next across 7 inches.
