Each earring is two pears in a row. A small citrine sits at the top inside its own halo of white topaz, and a considerably larger smoky quartz hangs below it on a rose gold link, haloed the same way, both stones pointing upward. The quartz is checkerboard cut, its crown broken into rows of small square facets, so the brown breaks up into many small returns instead of one broad table.
One hundred and thirty-two white topaz cover the four halos across the pair, and that bright outlining is what stops the gold of the citrine and the brown of the quartz from running into each other. Rose gold plating over silver sits in the same warm register as the upper stone. Thirty-five millimeters of drop, fifteen across at the widest point.
