Three emerald cut stones sit shoulder to shoulder across the finger, stepped facets running the length of each, held at the corners by paired claws in polished sterling silver. The color walks across the ring: champagne at one end, a darker smoky brown at the center where the largest stone sits at 3.16 carats, then golden citrine at the other. Emerald cuts show body color more honestly than brilliant cuts do, with fewer flashes to break it up, which is why a graduated set like this reads as one continuous wash of warm tone rather than as three separate stones. Bright white metal is the right frame for it, cool enough that the browns and golds stay distinct from each other. A trio of tiny white topaz is set into each shoulder.
