All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
The topazes are set bare. Each oval sits in a smooth rub over bezel with no prongs and nothing set against its edge, only a continuous band of polished metal following the outline, which leaves the whole face of the stone open and lets a 7.50 carat oval read at its full size. The blue is bright and saturated, closer to lagoon than to navy, and the plain collet gives it nothing to compete with.
The diamonds are nowhere near the topaz. They run in a single fine row along the outer face of the narrow hoop at the top of each earring, sixteen across the pair, so the small sparkle sits high on the lobe while the drop beneath stays completely clean. A jump ring joins the two, which lets the bezel swing forward and back. Overall the earring measures 31.2 by 11.6 millimeters, a small footprint for the amount of color it carries.
