Two oval Swiss blue topazes, four carats for the pair, each closed inside a smooth full bezel of rhodium plated silver. The collar runs unbroken around the girdle with no prongs to interrupt it, so each earring reads as one solid oval of blue inside a bright rim, edge to edge, nothing else in the design.
The color is the strong, faintly greenish blue of the Swiss variety and it holds evenly right across the table. At 10 by 8 millimeters they sit flat and close to the lobe.
