One oval Swiss blue topaz per ear, nothing else. Four slim claws take the stone at top, bottom and both sides, and the basket sits open underneath so light enters from behind as well as through the table, which is what keeps this blue looking lit rather than flat.
The color is the bright clear sky blue the material is named for, even from the girdle to the culet. At 9 by 7 millimeters the pair reads as a clean oval of color against the lobe, with rhodium plated silver reduced to the four points of contact.
