Eleven carats of Swiss blue topaz in a single emerald cut stone, set against a sterling silver butterfly worked in open filigree scrollwork. The wings curl outward and upward around the stone and are pierced throughout, so the pendant carries real visual width at thirty two by thirty millimetres without the weight to match. The topaz sits proud of the metalwork and faces forward while the filigree stays deliberately flat behind it.
