A round Swiss blue topaz of 2.24 carats is claw set at the centre, circled by small diamonds totalling 0.06 carats in a white metal halo. Behind the halo, a scalloped 14K yellow gold frame shows through as a ring of petal lobes.
The result is cool blue and white through the centre with a warm gold outline, two distinct tones that read as separate even at a glance. It measures 21 by 13 mm and hangs from a white metal bail on a box chain.
