Small oval tanzanites alternate with polished silver X links across the front of this slider bracelet, so violet and metal trade places all the way along instead of running as a solid row. The stones are modest in size and cut to show their color rather than their weight, moving between blue and violet as the wrist turns under the light.
There is no clasp to work: a fine box chain passes through a small bead, and the bracelet pulls closed against the wrist or opens out to ten inches. Worn loose it slides down toward the hand, worn tight it sits like a fitted line.
