The face of each earring is a scalloped clover, five soft lobes rather than a straight edge anywhere, domed up from the center and paved edge to edge with small round tanzanites. Thirty-three stones sit on each ear, sixty-six across the pair, close enough that the white metal shows only as fine beading between them.
Because the surface curves, the violet-blue reads lighter at the crown and deepens toward the scalloped rim, which gives a 15 by 15 millimeter earring more presence than a flat pave disc would have. A hinged omega style back arcs behind each one and closes flush to the ear.
