All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
Three tanzanites hang in a line down each earring and no two share a cut. An emerald cut sits at the top inside a stepped, almost architectural frame of white topaz; an oval follows in the middle within a scalloped topaz surround; a pear finishes the drop point down, outlined to a fine tip. Every section is hinged from the one above, so the three tiers articulate independently.
Tanzanite shifts between violet and blue depending on how the light meets it, and the small colorless topaz frames act as bright outlines that keep each stone visually separate instead of letting the three blur into one mass. Six tanzanites carry 8.60 carats between them, all in plain sterling silver with no plating to cool the tone. At 44 by 15 millimeters the drops are long and narrow, and because the construction is jointed they move in three places at once.
