Diamonds appear twice on each of these earrings. First as a narrow pave bar dropping straight from the post, then as a triangular halo tracing the trillion cut tanzanite that hangs below it on a free link. Seventy-two stones across the pair split between those two jobs, which is why the line above the stone reads as bright as the outline around it.
Each tanzanite points upward, corner held in three prongs, its flat face filling the space inside the halo. White gold throughout keeps the metal neutral against the violet-blue. At 24 by 11 millimeters they read tall and narrow at the ear, the vertical bar doing most of the lengthening.
