One round tanzanite hangs from each lever back, held in a four prong basket on a short link so the stone swings a little as you move. At twenty five millimetres overall they clear the lobe and sit just below it, and at six millimetres wide each stone reads as a distinct point of violet blue rather than a general shimmer. The lever backs close flush, which suits a drop meant for regular wear.
