Not one tanzanite but around fifteen ovals, 2.36 carats between them, scattered across a scalloped medallion at varying angles so no two catch the light at the same moment. Tanzanite shifts between blue and violet depending on how it is turned, and a cluster set at deliberately inconsistent angles shows both at once, which a single stone cannot do. The mount is two toned, warm settings holding the stones inside a beaded pale border, and it is pierced between them so the pendant is lighter than its 35 by 24 millimeters suggests.
