A pear cut tanzanite in a double halo. Two pear-shaped rows of pavé diamonds ring the 2.30 carat stone, held apart by a raised rib of white gold so they read as two distinct circuits rather than one wide band, and the rectangular bail above is pavé set across its face as well. Seventy diamonds in all, 0.35 carats.
At 25 x 13 mm the pendant stays compact in the hand while those two rows push its visible width well past anything the stone would cover on its own. The tanzanite is claw set point down, and the broad shoulder of the pear gathers light that runs toward the tip as the facets close in.
