A pear cut tanzanite hangs point up here, claw set inside a halo that follows the teardrop outline all the way around, narrowing to a small cluster at the tip and widening across the base. A milgrained edge finishes the back of the frame, a fine beaded line that catches light on its own at the border of the setting.
The bail above is a straight tapering panel pave set with more diamonds, so the whole drop reads as one continuous vertical from chain to point. Twenty-four millimeters long and thirteen across, on a sixteen inch white gold chain.
