One round tanzanite, four slim prongs, a plain silver band and nothing else. The head lifts the stone clear of the shank so light reaches it from the sides as well as from above, and the color moves between blue and violet as the hand turns, which is the behavior that makes the species worth setting this simply.
The band is narrow and barely tapered, leaving the stone as the only interruption in an otherwise even profile. At 0.94 carats it reads as a restrained solitaire rather than a statement, sized 6 US.
