Five round tanzanites run in a line along the top of the band, graduating gently from the largest at the center out to the smallest at either end. Between every pair a polished silver ribbon sweeps across the shank on the diagonal, so the row is broken into segments and the metal never lies flat for long.
Each stone is held on two prongs, top and bottom, which leaves its sides open and lets the violet carry from one to the next without a break. On the finger it reads as a half band rather than as a single stone ring. Sized 8 US.
