Oval tanzanites are massed across a domed top in staggered rows, each held in its own set of claws, the whole spread reading as one field of violet blue rather than a line of separate stones. The cluster is widest at the center of the finger and narrows quickly into the shank.
Tanzanite shows blue from one angle and violet from another, and gathering many small stones instead of one large one puts both tones on the hand at once. Sterling silver keeps the framework bright and low. Size 9.
