A trillion cut tanzanite fills the whole top of this ring, each of its three corners caught by one prong. The diamond halo follows the triangle instead of rounding it off, so the outline stays sharp, and below the head the shank splits into two pavé lines with an open triangular window left in the gallery on either side.
Cut this way the stone spreads sideways rather than stacking up, and 4.02 carats reads broader across the finger than the number suggests. Forty-nine diamonds carry the light out from the center in 14K white gold.
