A pear cut tanzanite sits point upward here, ringed by a single halo of round diamonds that traces the curve of the shoulders and pinches in neatly at the tip. Pavé runs partway down each side of the shank before the band returns to plain polished metal.
The blue in this stone leans violet under direct light and settles darker at the belly of the pear. Against 14K white gold there is nothing warm to pull the color, and at 4.04 carats the halo makes the head read wider than the stone alone.
