All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
This is a wide cluster band, not a single stone: three staggered rows of small round tanzanites fill the face of the ring, more than twenty of them, packed close enough that the violet reads as one continuous panel of color. A row of small white stones runs along each edge of the panel, framing the tanzanite above and below and giving the band a bright border against the finger.
Total tanzanite weight is 2.70 carats across the whole field, with 0.02 carats of diamond. Tanzanite shifts between blue and violet as it turns, and spreading the weight over many small stones means that shift happens across the band unevenly, several stones at a time rather than all at once. The band is broad across the top and tapers sharply to a plain shank at size 8 US.
