A round tanzanite is set into a raised circular collar and framed by one close halo of small round white topaz, about twenty of them, laid flush to the edge so the frame reads as a bright rim rather than a separate row of stones. The head stands proud of the finger while staying compact across it.
The shank is flat and squared, running clean into the halo with no stones on the shoulders. Total weight is 1.02 carats, and the topaz border does the work of making the center read larger than it measures.
