Five oval tanzanites run in a line along the top of this band, each in its own claws, with a small group of round white topaz set between one stone and the next. The alternation keeps the violet from massing, so each tanzanite reads on its own with a bright break on either side of it.
The tanzanites account for 1.24 carats and the topaz for 0.22, making 1.46 in total. The sterling silver band stays slim behind the row so the stones sit close to the finger rather than standing off it, which is why a ring of this weight still wears as an everyday band. Size 6 US, with custom sizing available on request.
