Six pear cut tanzanites radiate from a single small white topaz at the center, points turned inward so the flower reads clearly from above. Three round tanzanites sit to either side of the blossom, carrying the design out to the full width of the ring, and four more white topaz are tucked into the gaps between petals at the corners.
Twelve tanzanites and five topaz together come to 3.3 carats, none of them large, which is exactly what lets the cluster spread this wide and still sit low on the finger. The shank is broad and plain where it meets the setting, so the flower has the whole front of the ring to itself.
