Corner to corner these read as triangles, not circles, and that is the whole point of the pair. Each tanzanite is trillion cut with gently bowed sides, gripped by white gold claws at the three corners, and a narrow band of pavé diamonds runs the full perimeter, turning each of the three angles cleanly rather than rounding it away.
Holding the entire setting in white gold means nothing warms the stones: the violet-blue stays at the cool end of its range, closer to blue than to purple. 3.48 carats of tanzanite, 0.34 carats across forty-two diamonds, and 11 x 11 mm sitting flat at the lobe with nothing hanging below it.
