Twenty five oval tanzanites are set east west along this line, each in a four claw head linked straight to the next with no metal spacer between. The violet runs light here and it is not uniform along the row: some stones hold a definite lilac while their neighbors give back almost no color from the top, the sort of angle dependent shift between blue, violet and near colorless that tanzanite produces as it turns.
Six carats over twenty five stones puts each oval near a quarter carat, which keeps the band slim and close to the wrist. Rhodium plated sterling silver carries the line, and a lobster claw closes it at 7 inches.
