Two pear cut citrines hang from plain French wire hooks, each closed in a full bezel of white metal that runs unbroken around the outline of the stone. There is no accent work anywhere on this pair: no halo, no pave, no gallery detail, just a rim of metal and ten carats of clear honey yellow. Both stones hang point up, so the widest part of the pear swings at the bottom of the drop.
At 40 millimeters long against 10 wide they are narrow for their length, which is how a stone of this size stays light at the ear. The cool white plating holds the yellow warm by contrast, and the smooth bezel keeps the outline of each pear unbroken from any angle.
