All Gemstones are Natural in Origin
The amethyst is a long pear, hung point up beneath a fluted bail so the wide end swings at the foot of the pendant. The other two stones are sorted by shape as much as by color: round rhodolite garnets run down both long sides in a close scalloped line, while the marquise cut chrome diopsides gather at the top and the bottom like leaves folding over the tip and the base. Purple through the middle, pink along the edges, green at the two ends.
Chrome diopside is a dark, saturated green with very little yellow in it, which is why it holds its ground beside the amethyst instead of falling into shadow next to it. Rhodium plated sterling silver keeps all three colors cool. At 38 by 15 millimeters the pendant is tall and narrow, and it arrives on a silver chain in a gift box.
