The face is a full disc and the stones are arranged radially across it: an oval turquoise cabochon at the hub, then round amethysts and swiss blue topaz alternating outward like spokes, with pave diamonds filling every space left between them. The disc is domed, so the outer ring of stones tilts away from the eye.
Turquoise is opaque and gives back one flat, even blue while the faceted purple and blue stones around it flash independently, and that contrast is the whole design. At size 7.25 the face covers the finger from edge to edge and stands well up off the hand.
