Ten square cut yellow sapphires, 1.06 carats between them, are channel set in a single straight line down a yellow gold plated bar, edge to edge with almost no metal showing between them. Above and below, a broad border of white metal is worked with a bright faceted texture that reflects light back at the sapphires.
The top of the ring is flat and rectangular rather than domed, which gives it the look of a plaque set into the band. The two tone split is deliberate: gold for the channel, white for the frame. Ring size 7 US.
