A pear cut emerald hangs from each ear, gripped by slim prongs at the point and the shoulders, with a pave set pear shaped top holding the drop against the lobe. The green is bright and level across the face of the stone, and the white gold around it keeps that color cool instead of warming it.
Shown on the ear, the drop runs about seventeen millimeters and settles just below the lobe with a small amount of movement. All the diamonds sit in the top, so the emerald carries the only color.
